On Sunday, March 7, during its annual Alumnae Awards Celebration, Sacred Heart Academy will announce 1949 graduate Doris Boland Jones as the 2010 Alumna of the Year. The event will begin at 12 p.m. with registration, followed by a prayer service, brunch and awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Academy gym, 3175 Lexington Road, building 19.

Thirty-four years after leaving their mark, the Sacred Heart Academy 1976 state championship basketball team will again take center court. The team will receive state championship rings at a special half-time ceremony during the varsity game between SHA and Assumption on January 17 at Bellarmine University, Knight Hall. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
