The toddler curriculum focuses on principals of early childhood
development, without a specific emphasis on Montessori or Progressive
methods. The faculty and staff work together to foster the growth
and education of each child in preparation for an easy transition
to our Montessori or Progressive program.
Children age 1-2 are interested in the world around them and learn by observation, exploration and experimentation. The Toddler curriculum includes Montessori math, language arts, science, and an adaptation of “Handwriting Without Tears” activities for toddlers, Spanish, music, art, creative movement and plenty of time for play and socialization. At the heart of the Toddler experience is the development of your child’s independence, gross and fine motor skills and building self-esteem.
The nurturing, clean and safe environment is equipped with toddler-sized furniture and inviting learning materials. Our playground provides a safe place for outdoor fun.
