The Montessori Method is based on a child-directed learning
environment. Each child grows at his/her own pace and is provided
with opportunities to experience freedom and overcome challenges.
In a Montessori classroom, independent activity constitutes the majority of a child’s work. The atmosphere encourages social interaction, peer teaching and emotional development.
