Students, faculty, and staff from Sacred Heart Schools gathered to celebrate the season of giving during its 19th annual food donation and tree lighting ceremony on November 24 at Sacred Heart Academy. The annual ceremony and donation is the culmination of a three-week campus-wide student and staff food drive. Stan Curtis, founder of Kentucky Harvest attended and accepted a small representative sample of the cans of food collected from each of the four schools. Combined, the schools collected over 11,000 canned goods. A special presentation was made to Curtis by Sacred Heart Model School students. The school collected over 6,000 cans of food as part of the school’s stewardship program, “Students Helping Many Succeed.” The Level 2 students spearhead the food drive.
