Ursuline Arts Center
As part of the Sacred Heart Schools Ursuline United Capital Campaign, an 18-month renovation of Ursula Auditorium began in 2007. The largest project in the Sacred Heart Schools Campus Master Plan, Ursuline Arts Center is now a shining jewel on 48-acre Ursuline Campus and in the St. Matthews and Crescent Hill communities. The $4.5 million renovation and expansion of the Tudor Gothic building reflects the thought and care that went into the planning. In January 2010, the professional caliber venue was opened to the public.
Ursuline Arts Center gives students a professional caliber performance facility not found at other schools in the community. The performance venue includes:
  • Over 50 seats, main floor and balcony
  • Orchestra pit
  • Tom & Barbara Thieneman Atrium (concession area and ticket/coat check)
  • Technical control booth
  • Green room
  • Dressing rooms
  • R. F. Joseph Amphitheater
