March 5, 2010 Sacred Heart Model School Level 7 and 8 students received much recognition during the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) in February. Thirty schools and 750 students presented 56 proposals to the General Assembly. Level 8 student Franklin Starks was one of 10 student selected to the Leadership Council and ran the Summit Meetings throughout the conference. Patrick O’Brien (Level 8) and Zac Joseph (Level 7) were named outstanding delegates. The SHMS Madagascar proposal passed the General Assembly. SHMS also won an award for Outstanding Proposal Packet. The SHMS Global Village placed in the Top 4 and its placard also placed in the Top 4. |
