Approximately 99 percent of SHA graduates go on to college.

100 percent of the senior class takes the ACT.

Members of the Class of 2010 earned over 440 academic and athletic scholarship offers, in excess of $18.5 million and were accepted to over 127 colleges and universities across the United States.

Service to others is one of SHA’s core values. The Class of 2009 provided over 21,000 hours of service to the Louisville community in four years at SHA.

SHA offers more college level courses than any other Catholic high school in Louisville There are 37 IB, AP, and ACES courses offered.

In the past five years, SHA has won a total of 16 state athletic championships in the following sports: basketball, bowling, cross-country, dance, field hockey, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

SHA is proud of its family legacies and the graduates that cherish their SHA education. In 2009-10, 215 students have mothers and/or grandmothers who graduated from Sacred Heart Academy.

Students can broaden their art and media talents in one of the region’s most comprehensive art and technology programs. The Art, Media and Technology Wing includes high-speed DSL Internet access, four computer labs (two general, one multimedia, and one desktop publishing), a TV studio and control room, digital editing rooms, photography room and dark room, pottery and sculpture area with kiln, and an art studio.

Students will benefit from three newly renovated bio/chem labs and one newly renovated physics lab. The labs include wireless laptops, Smart Boards, and advanced science equipment.

The $4.5 million renovated Ursuline Arts Center opened in January 2010. It provides choir and drama students with a modern and awe-inspiring performance venue.

Students can develop a love of the arts further by enrolling in after school music/voice, dance and visual art classes at Sacred Heart School for the Arts, a member of Sacred Heart Schools, also located at Ursuline Campus. Students can also audition for the renowned Louisville Youth Choir, also housed at Ursuline Campus and artists in residence at Sacred Heart School for the Arts.

SHA has a first-class athletic complex on campus, including the SHA gym and fitness room, five tennis courts, fields for field hockey, lacrosse, soccer and softball, a regulation track, and field houses.

The 48-acre campus on Lexington Road in Crescent Hill is a park-like, neighborhood setting. The surroundings alone offer a unique high school experience not found anywhere else in Louisville.

The school building is completely accessible to all persons and includes bright and attractive classrooms.
