Special Events for Parents
Sacred Heart Academy offers a variety of social events for our
students, parents, families and community. Below are just a few
you’ll share with your daughter while at Sacred Heart Academy.
Revive the Ties
This event is sponsored by the SHA Alumnae
Association. Alumnae mothers and grandmothers of SHA, Ursuline
Academy and Angela Merici and their current SHA daughters/granddaughters
are invited to a casual back-to-school dinner in early August.
This fun evening is a great way for students to make new friends
and for alumnae to reconnect with former classmates now back
on campus as parents and grandparents.
Sophomore-Grandparent Liturgy
Held in the fall, all sophomores
and their grandparents or other special persons are invited to
participate in an evening liturgy. A light reception follows.
Father-Daughter Dance
Sponsored by the Parents’ Association,
the Father-Daughter Dance is held in late January or early February.
The theme-based dance is dress/coat and tie.
Mother-Senior Daughter Tea
Seniors and their mothers attend
Mass together in the Ursuline Motherhouse Chapel. A brunch follows.
