High school lays the foundation for success in nearly every part of life: in college, in a career, and in relationships with family and friends. That’s why selecting a high school that gives girls the best start toward a future is so important. Everything needed in a high school Starts with Heart!
Pre-College Curriculum
All courses at SHA are college preparatory. Freshmen and sophomores are placed into classes based on their academic abilities:
• Honors Level: Very challenging, pre-college, advanced level work.
• High Academic: Challenging pre-college, high school level work.
• Academic I: Pre-college high school level work.
• Academic II: Pre-college, high school level work with an emphasis on developing skills.
As juniors and seniors, students have the opportunity to earn college credits by taking dual high school/college (ACES), Advanced Placement (AP), or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses.
